I started coloring images that were freely available in Pigment, then graduated to others that had been created by other Pigment artists and made public.  Many of them were breathtaking, and most of them had been created in Amaziograph. My first few attempts were awful, and I began to wonder if I would ever be able to do something worth coloring, but I persevered until one day it just clicked.

I’ve now created many hundreds of images in Amaziograph. Doing so has given me countless hours of pleasure and great satisfaction; for me, it is effortless meditation.

One thing I’ve learned is that it is just as important what you take away, using the eraser tool, as what was drawn initially.  Judicious use in removing lines, and sometimes entire shapes, will turn a lackluster design into a sensational one.  Of course, that’s my opinion.
